𝙄𝙉 𝙋𝙃𝙊𝙏𝙊𝙎: To affirm support for the Masagana Rice Industry Development Program (MRIDP), Department of Agriculture-RFO XII Regional Executive Director Roberto T. Perales signed the Pledge of Commitment during the 2024 National Rice Industry Stakeholders Conference in Iloilo City from November 25-27, 2024. The conference aimed to unite stakeholders from all sectors, including RED Perales, in addressing challenges and sharing strategies and best practices.
As part of the celebration of National Rice Awareness Month (NRAM), the conference also emphasized the importance of being ‘Riceponsible,’ encouraging the public to consume rice wisely, explore healthier alternatives, minimize food wastage, and continue supporting the local rice sector for a better and more prosperous future for the rice industry.
