The Cotabato Mango Producers Cooperative (CMPCO) received a check from the Project Support Office (PSO) Mindanao on November 27, 2024, representing the 36.02% progress billing payment for the implementation of the โ€œMango Processing and Marketingโ€ subproject.

The funding is part of the loan proceeds allocated for the subproject, which aims to enhance CMPCO’s capacity to process mangoes into high-value products such as dried mango, puree, jam, and juice.

PSO Mindanao Deputy Project Director Carlene C. Collado, CPA, personally handed over the check to CMPCO representatives. During the turnover, he inquired about the cooperative’s current operations and addressed any issues or concerns they might have encountered during implementation.

โ€œThe PSO Mindanao and Regional Project Coordination Office will continue to provide assistance until we see this subproject completed on time,โ€ said DPD Collado. โ€œCongratulations on this significant progress in your implementation.โ€

This milestone reflects CMPCOโ€™s commitment to developing its operations and further contributing to the regionโ€™s agricultural value chain. (Joy M. Montecalvo,PSO Mindanao )
