#HalalCongress | The Department of Agriculture Region 12, through its Halal Food Industry Development Program (HFIDP), successfully hosted the Regional Halal Congress from November 21-23, 2024, in General Santos City.
The event aimed to tackle key issues affecting the growth of the Halal industry, especially in the production sector. It also served as a platform to showcase top Halal products, attract potential buyers, and foster meaningful exchanges between producers and buyers. Participants explored opportunities for stronger partnerships and networking to further develop the industry.
With the integration of various provincial Halal Clusters under the DA’s F2C2 program, the congress provided the perfect venue to address critical challenges and drive the Halal industry forward.
