#CRFFSinLakeSebu| Villagers in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato graduated from the AMIA Program’s Climate Resilient Farmer Field School (CRFFS) on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
The 38 CRFFS graduates were farmers from AMIA Villages of Lamlahak Farmers Association (LAMFA), Community Farmers and Empowerment Program Association (CFEPA), Malipayon Sibuyon Swisa Farmers Association (MALSIB SWISA), Lake Seloton Farmers Association (LASEFA).
The Livestock and Rice Program of the DA-RFO 12 provided them with forage planting materials and an insecticide as a token for their participation to the CRFFS; while each of the top ten graduates received a certificate of commitment for free-range chickens from the Livestock Program.
Meanwhile, the active and supportive local executive and officials of the Local Government of Lake Sebu attended the activity and thanked the DA-RFO 12 headed by Regional Executive Director Roberto T. Perales, and the AMIA Program which is led by their Focal Person Angelica L. Cabalfin; for bringing additional diverse knowledge and information to Lake Sebu farmers.
The activity concluded by congratulating and encouraging the CRFFS graduates to apply their newly acquired knowledge to climate-resilient farming practices and share it with other farmers to promote sustainable, productive, and responsible agriculture.
