#DRRM | A newly rehabilitated retaining wall of the New Tigbauan Diversion Dam in Matalam, Cotabato, was officially turned over on December 18, 2024, by the Department of Agriculture 12 Disaster Risk Reduction Management Unit, Regional Agricultural Engineering Division and Office of the Municipal Agriculturist in Matalam.
Through the DRRM’s 2023 Quick Response Fund, Php 1,117,953.85 was allocated for this infrastructure project, which aims to safeguard the dam from further damage caused by occasional flooding and to sustain irrigation to more than 20 hectares of farmland.
