#PRDPNews | The Department of Agriculture – Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) affirms adherence to World Bank guidelines through a symbolic Ceremonial Signing of the Implementation Management Agreement (IMA) with three local chief executives (LCEs) from the SOCCSKSARGEN Region on January 17, 2025 in Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
The signing ceremony brought together key figures from DA-PRDP and local government units (LGUs). Among the attendees were DA-PRDP Project Support Office Mindanao Project Director Macario D. Gonzaga, Deputy Project Director Carlene C. Collado, CPA, Regional Project Coordination Office XII Project Director Roberto T. Perales, and Deputy Project Director Engr. Abraham A. Onotan. LCEs, namely Polomolok Mayor Bernie D. Palencia, Tampakan Mayor Leonard T. Escobillo, and President Roxas Mayor Jonathan O. Mahimpit, were also among the key figures present.
The agreement outlines the roles and responsibilities of DA-PRDP and the LGUs in implementing three vital farm-to-market road (FMR) projects in the region: the concreting of Prk. Kalyong-Bukay Eel-Guaza-Buluan-Bato-Paradise, Landan FMR in Polomolok, South Cotabato; the concreting of San Isidro-Buto FMR with Bridge in Tampakan, South Cotabato; and the concreting of Greenhill-Camasi FMR in President Roxas, Cotabato.
Furthermore, it also serves as a collaborative framework to ensure the smooth execution of these projects, providing guidelines on procurement processes, project implementation, and turnover, with the aim to promote efficiency and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
