DA 12 Regional Executive Director Roberto T. Perales said as he expressed his support during the launching of the Rice Revolution Convergence Approach Program of provincial government of Cotabato led by Governor Emmylou T. Mendoza.
On March 13, 2025, more than 300 rice farmers from the municipality of Kabacan received six bags of fertilizer from the provincial government of Cotabato, the local government of Kabacan, and the Department of Agriculture.
This initiative is part of the Cotabato Rice Revolution Program’s “Convergence Approach,” which aims to increase farmers’ production, yield, and income through the 2-2-2 scheme.
Meanwhile, DA 12 Director Roberto T. Perales also highlighted the agency’s newest flagship initiative, the Price Protection Program (PPP), which aims to secure the economic stability of farmers throughout the SOCCSKSARGEN Region.
