#InPhotos | Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office XII Regional Executive Director Roberto Perales recently presented the guidelines for the Price Protection Program (PPP) to farmer cooperatives and associations (FCAs) in Koronadal City, South Cotabato on March 31, 2025. Presentations also included the launch of the Agri-Puhunan Program (APP) by the Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC) which, along with the PPP, aims to enhance market stability and provide benefits for both producers and consumers.
Questions about the initiative and its purpose were raised by some of the participants with RED Perales emphasizing that the guidelines will be implemented in various cooperatives and associations in South Cotabato, with plans for expansion into other provinces within the region.
In addition, further outreach efforts are planned in the coming months to educate other cooperatives and associations throughout the region on how to effectively implement and benefit from the PPP.
