#InPhotos | A total of 200 farmers from the municipalities of Tβboli, Lake Sebu, and Surallah, South Cotabato successfully completed the School-On-the-Air on Vegetable Production program with graduation ceremonies held from March 19 to 21, 2025.
Conducted by the Department of Agriculture β Regional Field Office (DA-RFO) XII through the Regional Agricultural and Fisheries Information Section (RAFIS), the educational program brought together farmers and cooperatives in a shared commitment to enhancing agricultural productivity and adopting modern vegetable production techniques.
As a ceremony highlight, five outstanding SOA enrollees were recognized for their exceptional performance through a pretest and post-test. Additionally, participants received tumblers, fruit tree seedlings, and vegetable seeds as tokens of appreciation, further encouraging sustainable farming practices.
The successful completion of this program further strengthens collaboration between local government units, agricultural organizations, and farmers, paving the way for more initiatives that empower rural communities and promote sustainable agriculture in South Cotabato.
