#InPhotos |The Consultation Workshop on Adapting Philippine Agriculture to Climate Change or APA Project recently conducted in Koronadal City by the AMIA-MCRA Program; brought together partner Local Government Units (LGUs) from Cotabato Province, National Government Agencies (NGAs), and DA RFO 12’s programs and projects, which will be part of the APA Project Regional Technical Working Group (RTWG).

The workshop was attended by representatives from selected municipalities from Cotabato province and the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAG). The Food and Agriculture Organization(FAO) also participated virtually to provide project brief, guidance and updates. Other agencies that were present were the ATI 12, DTI 12, NCIP 12, NIA 12, PAGASA, PCIC 12.

The APA Project is a grant from the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and co-finance by the Department of Agriculture and PAGASA, which aims to transform and build the resilience of Philippine agriculture through climate resilient practices and enterprises. A scaled-up approach of the Adaptation and Mitigation Initiative in Agriculture (AMIA) Program.
