The Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) Programβs Marketing Assistance and Enterprise Development (MAED) team continues its ongoing monitoring of all Partial Community-Based Enterprises (CBEs) across Region 12, focusing on Ready-to-Lay (RTL) Chicken and Mallard Duck projects.
On May 21, 2025, the team visited two active associations: the Purok II Upper Meocan Farmers Association in Arakan and the Malatab Womenβs Association in Antipas, both located in Cotabato Province. These groups, beneficiaries of the RTL Chicken project, have shown positive performance and enterprise growth.
The MAED monitoring aims to identify potential and existing markets, assess the income and expenses of associations, and analyze local competition to help ensure the sustainability of SAAD-supported enterprises.
