#InPhotos | In celebration of Surallah’s 62nd Founding Anniversary and the 6th Surbetube – The Ilognayan Festival, the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) hosted a Partnership Day with local farmers on June 23, 2025. Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office XII Regional Executive Director Roberto T. Perales attended the event, highlighting the vital role of farmers in nation-building.
“You, our farmers, are the backbone of our nation. You provide not just food, but also the security and strength that move our nation forward. Despite the challenges, you continue to persevere,” said RED Perales. “And under my leadership as Regional Executive Director, you are not only farmers but also agri-preneurs, empowered to shape the future of agriculture,” he added.
The activity recognized the contributions of farmers in the region and emphasized DA-RFO XII’s continued support for agricultural development through strengthening partnerships between the government and the farming sector. (
