Convinced that farming is not only a man’s job, Rebecca Brillo Gacayan ventured in the production of coffee through ecologically balanced practices. As a testament to her patience, grit and spirit, her beans grown was declared “best”during the Philippine Coffee Quality Competition in 2021. An empowered woman, she urges other women farmers in Sulatan Kudarat to continue to pursue agricultural projects to help their family and their country.
