๐—œ๐—ก ๐—ฃ๐—›๐—ข๐—ง๐—ข๐—ฆ | A new chapter in the development of agricultural infrastructure in Sultan Kudarat began on December 1, 2025, with the groundbreaking of the Sitio Kipuso-Sitio Janiuay Farm-to-Market Road (FMR) in the municipality of Bagumbayan.

This subproject, which is expected to support local farming communities, is part of the Department of Agricultureโ€™s Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) rehabilitation initiative.

The 6.3-kilometer road will connect four barangays: Masiag, Kabulanan, Gapok, and Bugso, and is designed to improve access to markets and processing centers for local farmers. Once completed, the road is expected to reduce hauling costs, cut travel time, and minimize transport losses for key crops like African Oil Palm, coconut, corn, and rice. Additionally, it will generate job opportunities for local residents during the construction phase.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by DA-PRDP RPCO XII Deputy Project Director and various local government officials. As construction progresses, the project is expected to create lasting impacts, fostering economic resilience and greater opportunities for the people of Bagumbayan and its neighboring barangays.
