Almost a hundred corn farmers from identified farmer groups in South Cotabato attended the forum, wherein they were encouraged to apply modern corn production technologies.
DA XII also invited seed companies to present their technologies and new corn varieties to farmers.
Personnel from the Regional Crop Protection Center and Regional Soils Laboratory also encouraged farmers to apply biological control agents and BIO-N in their production.
