In Amas, Kidapawan City, DA 12 Rice Program Coordinator Ray Embajador, OIC Field Operations Division Chief Ismael Intao, Cotabato Governor Emmylou Taliño-Mendoza and DA 12 former director Amalia Jayag-Datukan led the kick-off ceremony which was attended by irrigators associations from this province.
Meanwhile, initial distribution of the said farm inputs was held this afternoon in Tulunan town. The agency targets to increase here the yield of rice farmers who have more than 2,250 hectares of production areas planted with hybrid and inbred seeds.
Other rice-producing municipalities in Cotabato will also benefit fertilizer subsidy from the government.
