Farmers and fisherfolk from South Cotabato Province attended this activity to learn various farming practices and new technologies for agri-fishery sector demonstrated and established in OPAG’s demo farm.
Among the topics discussed to the farmer-attendees were hatchery, cattle production, vermicomposting, organic concoctions, greenhouse farming, nursery, food processing, vegetable production and biological control agents.
Private companies also presented their products such as corn seeds, fertilizer, farm machines, equipment and facilities.
Further, one of the highlights of the event was the “PINAKA CONTEST,” which showcased the longest and heaviest harvests of the participating farmers and fishers.
