#KadiwaNgPangulo | The Department of Agriculture 12, other national government agencies, and Provincial Government of Cotabato Province brought the Kadiwa ng Pangulo (KNP) Diskwento Caravan to the consumers in Amas, Kidapawan City.The KNP Program was simultaneously launched nationwide today, July 17, including the four provinces in Region 12. Kadiwa Centers were set up in Amas, Kidapawan City, Alabel, Sarangani, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat and Koronadal City, South Cotabato.This was participated by 23 exhibitors โ local farmer, farmer groups and micro, small, medium enterprises, who displayed fresh fruits and vegetables, well-milled rice, fish, meat, processed products and handicrafts, sold at affordable prices.In his talk, Department of Agriculture 12 OIC Regional Executive Director Dr. John Pascual said that the KNP is a strategy of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. to eliminate intermediaries in the supply chain and further improve and strenghthen market linkages for farmers and fishers.“Sa Kadiwa ng Pangulo, dinadala natin sa kadiwa centers ang mga produkto ng mga magsasaka at mangingisda upang mas maitaas ang mga presyo ng kanilang produkto at makabili ang mga konsyumer ng murang halaga,” director Pascual said.Cotabato Governor Emmylou Taliรฑo-Mendoza, DA 12 Former Director Amalia Jayag-Datukan and municipal mayors also attended the event.
