#8thOrganicAgricultureCongress | Organic agriculture (OA) enthusiasts from the different parts of the region gathered in General Santos City for the 8th SOCCSKSARGEN Organic Agriculture Congress yesterday, September 19, 2023.
The gathering of OA practicitioners centered on the theme: “Kabuhayang OA, Kinabukasang OK”.
This congress will be an avenue for organic farmers, advocates, stakeholders representing different sectors, academe and local government units to share their experiences, knowledge, and innovations in organic farming.
Yesterday, organic agriculture stakeholders in Sox acquired wisdom on the experiences of their fellow OA advocates through presentation of various technologies and experiences.
Plans, programs and updates from four provinces in the region will be presented as well tomorrow with their remarkable accomplishments and their initiatives in the implementation of the program.
The congress also served as an avenue for OA enthusiasts to craft policies which will benefit the industry in the region.
