#32ndIn-HouseReview | Researchers of the Department of Agriculture (DA) 12 presented their research studies during the Research for Development (R4D) 32nd Pre-Agency In-House Review, spearheaded by the Research and Development Division on September 21- 22, 2023, in General Santos City.
A total of 29 agri-related studies were presented by the researchers from DA 12’s R&D, Amas Research and Experiment Station, Balindog RES, Aroman RES, Tupi RES and Regional Crop Protection Center.
Evaluators were experts from the field of agriculture, economics and science research. They were Dr. Keno Jay Balogbog, Dr. Lorna Vilbar, Dr. Cayetano Pomares, Dr. Ray Rodriguez, Maimona Amil and Dr. Elmer Enicola.
This in-house review assessed the implementation of various projects, challenges and further recommend actions for the improvement of their projects and studies.
Justine Rhyan Barranca said “Marami tayong mga project na kina-conduct para makatulong sa ating mga farmers upang mapataas ang kanilang ani at kita…at sana po ay marami pang mga projects na gagawin ng mga researchers para mapaunlad ang ating ekonomiya sa kasalukuyan.”
R4D Pre-Agency In-house Review is a vital approach in the monitoring and evaluation of significant accomplishments of a certain project with a given timeframe and strategies of implementation.
