#INSPIREProgram | Region 12’s swine clusters benefited financial aid worth PhP50-million (M) from the DA’s Integrated National Swine Production Initiatives for Recovery and Expansion (INSPIRE) Program.
DA National Livestock Program Director Ruth Miclat-Sonaco, DVSM and DA 12 OIC Regional Executive Director John Pascual, DVM handed-over the cheques to the beneficiaries today October 11, in City of Koronadal, South Cotabato.
Each of the recipients were granted with PhP10-M namely the Local Government Unit of Surallah, Malalag Cogon Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Association, Highland Agripreneur Integrated Farmers Association, Alamada Multi-purpose Cooperative and National Federation of Hog Raisers Inc.
DA12 is hopeful that it will help the swine clusters to expand their production and contribute to the region’s hog industry recovery.
Further, this activity was part of the DA 12’s celebration of the 3rd National Livestock and Poultry Month this October.
