#YFCRegionalLevel | Young farmers from the provinces of Sarangani and Cotabato gave updates to the panelists about the status of their agri-enterprises during a business pitching activity for the Young Farmers Challenge (YFC) Start-up (Open Category) Regional Level Competition held in Koronadal City on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
The business pitch was initiated by the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD) of the Department of Agriculture (DA) 12.
YFC-grantees showcased their agri-products from various commodities — squash, cacao, coconut, coffee, and adlai, and innovation for the rice sector.
The panelists, who are composed of experts from the DA, other government agencies and private organization, evaluated the business concept, feasibility, and potential impact of their enterprises on the agricultural sector.
There are 7 winners of the YFC Regional Competition this year who will represent Region 12 in the 2023 YFC National Level Competition.
