#Benchmarking | The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR) of Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) is benchmarking Region 12’s agricultural best practices.
This afternoon in Koronadal City, a team from the MAFAR’s Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division held a benchmarking activity to DA 12-AMAD’s program and project implementation to adopt and replicate in BARMM the agency’s innovative techniques.
On October 19, the team will also visit, observe and discuss with the officers of CFTEMPCO —a successful cooperative in General Santos City, to learn more about their effective and efficient operations, their relationship with enabling environment such as coop members and farmer clusters, and the support extended by the City LGU.
Further, they will also explore the processing and business operations of RT Foods—a Young Farmers Challenge national winner from Region 12.
