#RPAB | Three local government units (LGUs) were able to notch the approval of the Regional Project Advisory Board (RPAB) for their proposed infrastructure subprojects under the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) Scale Up.
LGU-Antipas was granted with the nod from the RPAB for their 10-Kilometer proposed Concreting of Malangag-Malire Farm-to-Market Road (FMR) worth P200-Million.
LGU Kidapawan’s proposal was approved worth P55.8-M for the concreting of the 3.34-kilometer Sibawan FMR.
Meanwhile, six potable water systems level II proposals of LGU-Isulan were granted with approval from the RPAB.
OIC-Regional Executive Director Dr. John Pascual presided the 2nd RPAB Meeting for 2023, yesterday, in Koronadal City.
After the RPAB’s acceptance of the proposal, the LGU proponents will now gear up to the next level of accessing the No Objection Letter.
DA-RPAB is an interagency multidisciplinary team chaired by the DA Regional Executive Director. It is composed of the regional directors of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), DILG, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), the director of the Mindanao Development Authority as well as the Chairman of the Regional Agriculture and Fishery Council (RAFC). It is mandated to review and approve plans, feasibility studies, detailed engineering designs and program of works for PRDP funding.
