#KalimudanFestival2023 | Today, November 16, 2023, marks the start of a vibrant journey celebrating the essence of unity within Mindanao’s coffee community with a theme, “One Coffee, One Mindanao: Sa SK (Sikat ang Kape), Dito Patuloy Tayong Aangat,” held at the Culture & Arts Pavilion, Sultan Kudarat Cultural Center as it is one of the highlighted events of the 50th Kalimudan Festival.
DA-RFO XII’s RTD for Research and Regulations, Lorna Vilbar highlighted Sultan Kudarat’s remarkable achievements, ranking at the forefront of coffee production in Mindanao and the entire Philippines. With 42% production share in Mindanao and 35% nationwide, the province is a beacon of coffee excellenceโa testament to the dedication and prowess of our coffee growers.
RTD Lorna Vilbar added from the words of former DA Sec. President Ferdinand Marcos, “Farming is more than a livelihood,” resonates with the commitment of the Department of Agriculture RFO XII.
