#DAday | DA XII awards P167-M projects, interventions to Sultan Kudarat
Farmers in Sultan Kudarat will soon reap increased harvests with the distribution of PhP167-Million worth of agricultural interventions from the Department of Agriculture (DA) XII.
Said interventions, which were distributed at the Provincial Capitol Grounds on November 18, 2023, are intended to boost the productivity of agricultural commodities such as rice, corn, and high-value crops, particularly coffee.
Other funding agencies that supported the distribution were the National Dairy Authority, National Irrigation Administration XII, Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation XII, Philippine Coconut Authority XII, and Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization.
This event was part of the Sultan Kudarat’s celebration of its 50th Founding Anniversary and the 25th Kalimudan Festival of Sultan Kudarat.
Further, the DA Day in Sultan Kudarat also featured a Kadiwa ni Pangulo outlet where agri-commodities from different parts of the region were sold at affordable prices.
