#StakeholdersMeeting | To harmonize the department’s implementation of rice program in the region, the DA Regional Field Office XII, headed by OIC-Regional Executive Director John B. Pascual, spearheaded an Stakeholders’ Meeting with the provincial, municipal and city agriculturists, the National Irrigation Administration, and cluster heads today, January 16, 2024.
The meeting is in line with the directives of DA Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel, Jr. to focus on agricultural production and modernization.
Discussed during the meeting include strategies on ramping up of local production and 2024 wet season targets, distribution of seeds, fertilizers and biofertilizers, Rice Farmers Financial Assistance updates, and other matters.
