Enhancing Livelihoods through Cattle Intervention for Climate Resilience

The Adaptation and Mitigation Initiative in Agriculture team recently conducted a monitoring activity in Kulaman Valley Farmers Association located at Brgy. Bato-Bato, Pres. Roxas, Cotabato.

A total of 11 heads of cattle were distributed to the association. It was observed that the cattles were managed well with proper care and nutrition. The association also practice sustainable pasture management through forage production; and provided adequate shelter, shade, and feeding trough for the animals. Moreover, most of the cattles undergone artificial insemination to optimize breeding efficiency and reproductive performance.

Cattle Intervention aims to strengthen the resilience of AMIA villages against climate change impacts, while enhancing their livelihoods through sustainable agricultural practices and promote climate-smart farming. ๐Ÿ‚๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒฟ
