Swift action by NMIS XII Enforcement team to LGU-Surallah’s call for strike operation.
Mr. Renen Perbillo, Team Leader together with Mr. John Marco Paolo Cainglet and Ms. Ayza Bonita Somejo and LGU-Surallah Enforcement Team headed by Dr. John Christian Argamosa, Vet III under the Municipal Agriculturist Office, Mr. Reuel P. Lamzon, Slaughterhouse Master, Mr. Jan Reynan Escanilan, MI II and Police Officer Oscar Alabaracin conducted strike operation at Surallah, South Cotabato.
The said activity resulted to confiscation of two (2) hog carcasses equivalent to 350 kgs. The said carcasses were identified as hot meat as it was not slaughtered in a registered meat establishment violating the provision of RA 9296 known as “Meat Inspected Code of the Philippines” as amended by RA 10536. After proper documentation and police report, the confiscated meat were safely disposed.
