#DuckMultiplierFarmProjectTurnover | The culmination of the Duck Multiplier Farm project, a Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 12 initiative through the livestock program that is worth PHP 1,875,000.00 under the CY 2022 Livestock-Based Economic Enterprise Development (LEED) program, marked a significant milestone for the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat.
After implementation, the project was successfully completed, paving the way for its official turnover to the Silangan Farmers Association last April 30, 2024.
The turnover, led by the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office XII Regional Technical Director for Operations Dr. John Pascual and attended by LGU-Lambayong officials including Hon. Jaime Baldonado, Hon. Jay-E Baldonado, Hon. Arnold Guerrero, Hon. Joseph Leo “Popot” Recino, and Hon. Jay Eliaza Toreja, symbolized not only the completion of a vital agricultural endeavor but also a commitment to the prosperity of Lambayong’s farming community.
Dr. Pascual reiterated the DA-RFO 12’s ongoing support, emphasizing that the Duck Multiplier Farm project represents just one aspect of a broader effort to enhance economic opportunities in Lambayong. Hon. Guerrero echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the significance of the Duck Multiplier Farm project as a pioneering venture in Lambayong and leading a new era of agricultural innovation for the local farmers.
