The Department of Agriculture 12 joins “Pagsibol 2024”, spearheaded by the Department of Agriculture (DA) through Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI), High-value Crops Development Program (HVCDP), National Urban and Peri-urban Agriculture Program (NUPAP), and private partners.
Pagsibol, a three-day conference and exhibit, aims to create a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, innovation, and collective action among key stakeholders for the growth of the Philippine agriculture sector.
Agriculture Secretary Francisco P. Tiu Laurel, Jr. and First Lady Marie Louise Araneta-Marcos led the opening of Pagsibol: The Philippine Horticulture and Urban Agriculture Summit 2024 on May 3 at One Ayala Mall in Makati City.
