In line with the celebration of Farmers and Fisherfolks Month, the Local Government Unit of Malungon, Sarangani Province conducted a Farmers Convergence Forum earlier today, May 28, 2024.
The activity aims to foster unity and cooperation between government agencies and the farming and fishing communities in the province. This was also an avenue for the different agencies to present an overview of their programs, projects, and activities that may truly benefit the farmers and fisherfolks in attaining sustainable agriculture.
As the ultimate partner of the farmers and fisherfolks, the Department of Agriculture RFO 12 together with its program coordinators have rendered their full support in the fulfillment of the event’s objectives.
Farmer leaders from the respective barangays of the municipality, heads of government agencies, and other stakeholders were also present in the said activity.
