To enhance the capacities of different villages under the AMIA program and prioritize sustainability through enterprise development, the Adaptation and Mitigation Initiative in Agriculture (AMIA) Program of the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 12 (DA RFO 12), organized a two-day Mid-year Assessment and Enterprise Development workshop on July 25-26, 2024 in General Santos City.

Jeisa D. Sologastua, the Technology Business Incubation (TBI) Project Manager of the DA RFO 12 Research Division, served as the resource person for the event. During the session, participants were guided on how to create their business model canvas, which they later presented for evaluation. This business model canvas will also serve as the basis for the AMIA program for future interventions.

Additionally, various interventions were awarded during the event with a challenge from AMIA Focal Person Angelica L. Cabalfin. She emphasized that every intervention given by DA 12 entails a corresponding responsibility that needs to be fulfilled, encouraging all villages to collaborate towards the vision of a climate-resilient agri-fishery technology-based enterprises (AMIA-Create).
