𝐒𝐀𝐀𝐃 𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐂𝐒𝐊𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝟏𝟖𝟎 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭
As of August 2, 2024, the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝟏𝟐- 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐃𝐀𝟏𝟐-𝐒𝐀𝐀𝐃) 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 has successfully trained 180 individual farmers across Region 12. The initiative aims to equip farmers with essential skills in accounting and expense management, ensuring they can maintain steady and continuous farming practices.
The training focused on tasks related to accounting and managing expenses, with the goal of empowering farmers to better handle their financial resources. This effort is crucial for sustaining agricultural activities and improving the economic stability of farming communities.
The DA12-SAAD program’s training initiative marks a significant step towards enhancing the capabilities of farmers in Region 12. By providing them with the tools and knowledge needed for effective financial management, the program aims to create a more resilient and economically stable farming community.
