#HappeningNow | More than PhP 2 million worth of cash assistance under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund – Rice Farmers Financial Assistance (RCEF-RFFA) of the Department of Agriculture 12 – Rice Program is given to 591 rice farmer-beneficiaries in Norala, South Cotabato today, 07 August 2024.
The said program aims to provide PhP 5,000.00 cash assistance to smallholder Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA) registered rice farmers tilling rice lands of two (2) hectares and below and to provide temporary relief to eligible farmers throughout the implementation years of the Rice Tariffication Law (RTL).
The same activity will be conducted on 08 August 2024 for the municipality of Surallah, South Cotabato, and on 09 August 2024, rice farmer-beneficiaries of Tantangan, South Cotabato were scheduled to receive their cash assistance.
