#LOOK | On August 6-7, 2024, machine operators from 18 farmer associations in Region 12 undergo an Operations and Maintenance Training organized by the Department of Agriculture 12 – Regional Agricultural Engineering Division (RAED), Rice, Corn, and High Value Crops Development Program (HVCDP) in Tupi, South Cotabato.
This is to provide farmers with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the intervention and the system within which it operates. The training covered the familiarization and identification of different types and basic parts of a four-wheel tractor, pre-start safety check, and assuring tractor safety.
Through this, participants were able to learn how to optimize operations, enhance productivity, and address real-world challenges in farming industry.
