𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 | SAAD 12 distributes over P11M of agri-intervention in Soccsksargen
As of June 2024, sixteen (16) farmers’ associations across four provinces in Soccsksargen received a total of Php11,287,595.50 worth of agricultural inputs from the Department of Agriculture 12 – Special Area for Agricultural Development (DA-SAAD) Program.
The FAs who benefited from this distribution were 5 FAs in South Cotabato, 6 FAs in Cotabato, 1 in Sarangani and 4 associations in Sultan Kudarat. Each association received 60 bags of high-breed corn seeds, 120 bags of urea fertilizer, and 60 bags of complete fertilizer. In addition to these inputs are 2 bags of high-breed corn seeds, 4 bags of urea fertilizer, and 2 bags of complete fertilizer received by each member of the associations totalling 480 farmer beneficiaries.
