𝐃𝐀-𝐏𝐑𝐃𝐏 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞-𝐔𝐩 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐍𝐎𝐋𝟏 𝐭𝐨 𝟒 𝐅𝐌𝐑 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝟏.𝟏-𝐁
A ceremonial awarding of No Objection Letter 1 (NOL1) to four Department of Agriculture – Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) Scale-Up farm-to-market road (FMR) subprojects in Catanauan, Quezon; Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro; Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental; and Senator Ninoy Aquino (SNA), Sultan Kudarat was held yesterday, September 16, 2024, at the Office of the Secretary, DA Central Office, Quezon City.
DA Secretary Francisco P. Tiu Laurel, Jr. awarded the NOL1 certificates for the Construction of San Roque – San Antonio Magcopa – San Pablo Suha – Doongan Ilaya FMR with Two Bridge Component worth PhP380-million (M) to Catanauan Mayor Ramon A. Orfanel and the Concreting of Sitio Centro to Sitio Balete, Hagan FMR worth PhP201.83-M to Bongabong Mayor Elegio A. Malaluan.
The DA Chief also awarded the NOL1 certificates for the Concreting of Paypayan – Binuangan – Senote – Clarin Settlement FMR worth PhP200-M to Oroquieta City Mayor Lemuel Meyrick M. Acosta and the Concreting of NHJ Lagubang – Banali – Buklod – Tacupis – Basag FMR worth PhP356.12-M to SNA Vice Mayor Rafael George F. Flauta, III.
The four FMR subprojects valued at PhP1.1-B will improve the accessibility to and within the said areas. They will reduce transportation time and costs of agricultural products, directly benefiting the local farmers and fishers.
Also present were DA Undersecretary for Operations Engr. Roger V. Navarro and PRDP National Deputy Project Director Angelita D. Martir.#
