Deputised Seed Inspectors across Region 12 successfully concluded a three-day Refresher Training Course focused on enhancing seed quality and certification standards. The training, held from October 15-17, 2024 in Koronadal City, was conducted by the Department of Agriculture 12 – Rice Program in collaboration with the Bureau of Plant Industry – National Seed Quality Control Services (BPI-NSQCS).
The course provided critical updates on seed certification processes and the essential responsibilities of Seed Inspectors. Participants engaged in discussions and workshops designed to improve their skills in the procurement of high-quality seeds for local farmers, ensuring that they receive the best possible resources for their agricultural needs.
The course concluded with practical assessments to ensure inspectors are well-prepared to implement their refreshed knowledge in the field.
