#CornVarietalTrial | Here is the latest result of the Farmer’s Field Day for the Regional Varietal Trial for Wet Season in the high elevations of Cotabato province specifically in Municipality of Banisilan on October 23, 2024. 
In the GM category, Syngenta Philippines Inc. (NK6505) demonstrated superior performance with an average yield of 8.77 t/ha. Bayer Crop’s DK8131S followed with an average yield of 8.67 t/ha, while Asian Hybrid’s AH Supreme 5150 yielded an average of 8.55 t/ha. 
This initiative was spearheaded by the Corn Program and Research and Development Division, in collaboration with the Regional Soils Laboratory and the Local Government Unit of Banisilan and Cotabato province.
