#InPhotos | 15 young farmer-entrepreneurs from across the region showcased their agripreneurial skills in the business pitching event for the Upscale and Intercollegiate Competition, conducted by the Young Farmers – Regional Program Management Team (YFC-RPMT) on March 3, 2025, in Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
A selection of Regional Level Awardees was held for both the YFC Intercollegiate and YFC Upscale categories and a panel of judges evaluated participants based on prescribed criteria, with winners receiving Php 250-thousand for Intercollegiate and Php 300-thousand for the Upscale Category, respectively, as initial or additional capital through a competitive financial grant.
This initiative aims to encourage youth participation in agriculture and agri-fishery enterprises. By integrating a competitive format, the program strengthens entrepreneurial skills and fosters innovation among young farmers.
