“MALAKING TULONG TALAGA ITONG TRAINING SA AMING ASOSASYON KASI MAS LALO NAMIN NALAMAN ANG KAHALAGAHAN NG BAWAT MIYEMBRO AT KUNG PAANO PA PATATAGIN ANG AMING ASOSASYON,โ remarked FA President Mailyn Todi during the Organizational Management and Leadership Training conducted by ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ – ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ (๐๐-๐๐๐๐) ๐๐ก๐๐ฌ๐ ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ. This initiative aims to enhance the leadership and organizational capacities of farmers.
Held on July 16-17, 2024, at Agua Frio Garden Resort in Koronadal City, South Cotabato, the training was facilitated by the SAAD Marketing Assistance and Enterprise Unit (MAED) personnel, led by Amorsolo P. Gloria, Sr. Agriculturist. Participants included members from various farmers’ associations (FAs) in Tโboli and Lake Sebu, namely Kematu FA, Hnomi FA, Rivera Palay FA, Sitio Lamkling FA, Upper Maculan FA, and Lower Maculan FA.
Each associationโs participants, including the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, and Bookkeeper, attended the training.
Mr. Sonny Esclamada, Organizational Development Officer for the Philippine Rural Development Project – Investments in Rural Enterprises and Agriculture and Fisheries Productivity (PRDP-IREAP), served as the resource speaker. He led discussions on the fundamentals of management, organizational management, leadership, and organizational cycles.
This training has significantly benefited the participating associations by highlighting the importance of each member and offering strategies to strengthen their organizations.
