The Department of Agriculture, through the RAED-Engineering Plans, Designs, and Specifications Section, successfully completed a 5-day training on Detailed Engineering Design (DED) and Program of Works (POW) Preparation for Agri-Infrastructure Projects. The training’s primary objective was to equip the Department’s Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers and partner Local Government Units (LGUs) with the necessary skills to develop accurate cost estimates for agri-fishery infrastructure projects.

On the last day of training, participants presented their outputs, showcasing their progress and learning outcomes. They have also received valuable insights and further instructions from the speakers, enhancing their understanding of the subject matter.

Overall, the training aimed to strengthen the participants’ capacity to plan and execute agri-fishery infrastructure projects effectively, contributing to the overall development and improvement of the region’s agricultural sector.
