#InPhotos | A team of national Gawad Saka evaluators visited Victoria A. Motril, farmer and owner of the VMotril Farm in Tupi, South Cotabato yesterday, March 19, 2025. Motril is one of the national finalists for the Gawad Saka Outstanding Coconut Farmer Category.
The team is composed of Ken Guiller A. Vicente, Division Chief of the PCA Central Office Field Operations Division, Lilia A. Portales, Senior Agriculturist of BPI Central Office, Marisol R. Ortiz, Operations Department Acting Department Manager of PCA Central Office and Zarah M. Porto, Gawad Saka Central Office Secretariat. The team inspected and evaluated Motril’s farm including the processing area and the variety of value-added produce of the farm.
The Gawad Saka is a nationwide search for outstanding farmers and fisherfolk of the Department of Agriculture. (
