#TOTonCRVA | As the Department of Agriculture 12 recognized the urgent need to assess and mitigate the communities’ vulnerability to climate risks, the Adaptation and Mitigation Initiatives in Agriculture (AMIA) initiated a training of trainers (TOT) on climate risk vulnerability asssessment (CRVA) starting yesterday, May 23, in General Santos City.

Participants from the AMIA villages, local government units, and DA 12 personnel were equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to build resilience and adapt to the changing climate.
The training sessions cover a wide range of topics, including Geographic Information System, CRVA, adaptive capacity and exposure to hazard.
