The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) marks its 37th year of innovation, collaboration, and success in serving Filipino farmers.
The ATI-RTC XII celebrates with the entire ATI Network through an exemplary program held last February 7, 2024, at the ATI-RTC XII, Brgy. San Felipe, Tantangan, South Cotabato.
The program started with a Thanksgiving Prayer Service followed by the program proper.
Training Specialist III Simona P. Dela Cruz acknowledged the guests and staff.
Following the acknowledgment of guests, OIC-Center Director, Shirley L. Beldia welcomed the guests for the day’s program and to the 37th year of ATI as a stronghold in agricultural extension services.
OIC-Center Director Beldia expressed enthusiasm for the ever-evolving and innovating future of ATI Region XII and the commitment of passion to serve the farmers in the region of SOCCSKSARGEN and BARMM.
Messages from different agencies were also given. In attendance was Jocelyn Fortinez-Torres, Ph.D., the Chief of the Agricultural Engineering Division in DA-RFO XII, a representative of the OIC-Regional Executive Director of DA-RFO XII, Dir. John B. Pascual DVM.
Also in attendance were the SOXAARRDEC Director, Dr. Josephine R. Migalbin, and a representative from the PENRO – South Cotabato. Also in attendance were representatives for the office of the Tantangan Mayor, Municipal Councilor, Mrs. Rosario Belo, and from the office of the Brgy. Captain of San Felipe.
Some of the highlights of the program were the the awarding of approved special patent for the land that the ATI-RTC XII is built on, as well as the oath-taking of the newly promoted ATI-RTC XII staff, namely, Elanie N. Souribio as Administrative Officer II and Johnny H. Pasaquian as Agriculturist II.
To cap off the program, the guests listened to a closing message by the outgoing ATI-RTC XII Center Director, Abdul I. Daya-an, who shared his hope for a great future for the ATI-RTC XII bringing in innovations and promotions with the same great passion.
