#Agristorya || E-Saka started out of the curiosity of Engr. Robert James Bedaño in modern farming that later developed into a business idea. However, due to financial instability having recently experienced the devastating effects of the 2019 earthquake and pandemic, he cannot pursue the business. Fortunately, he heard about the Young Farmers Challenge Fund (YFCF) program which provides a competitive grant for start-up agribusinesses. The program ignited hope in his heart to follow his vision of a smart farm– integrating technology with agriculture. Together with his girlfriend, Percie Joy Gelera, a communications graduate, they conceptualized e-Saka.E-SAKA is a start-up agribusiness venture aiming to promote digital agriculture and engage in scientific farming to increase and sustain farm yields gearing towards food security. e-Saka is conceptualized to have three brand components: The S.M.A.R.T. Farm, a smart hydroponics farm; the e-Saka Smart Farm Solutions, its farming technology brand; and The House of Greens, a future “farm-to-table” cafe. Together with its growth, e-Saka envisions to provide sustainable jobs to the community, become a host training institution for agriculture-related courses, and be an inspiration to aspiring young farmers.#yfcspark#youngfarmerschallengeprogram Post navigation Presentation of the Tilapia Value Chain Analysis (VCA) and the Stakeholders’ Consultation on Tilapia VCA held in Koronadal City Makinig at matuto sa ika-siyam na episode ng School on-the-Air on Smart Rice Agriculture ng Department of Agriculture 12 ngayong araw, August 23, 11:00 A.M
