Kidapawan City – Adaptation and Mitigation Initiatives in Agriculture-villagers and BP2-villager associations attended the AMIA Forum on Livestock Production and Management conducted today September 29, 2023.

The activity was spearheaded by the AMIA, Mainstreaming Climate Resilient Agriculture (MCRA) in partnership with the DA-Balindog Research and Experiment Station.

This training aimed to provide the farmer-associations with the appropriate knowledge and skills on production of livestock and well-organized livestock management.

Farmer-attendees were from the Kulaman Valley Farmers Association, Riverside Farmers Association and Blaan Kyalag Amda Dedo Sansato Agriarian Reform Beneficiaries Cooperative and Balik Probinsya Farmers Association.

Special thanks to Ma’am Shellah Joy B. Cabalinan from Amas Research and Experiment Station for sharing her knowledge and expertise as the resource person of the said activity. Additionally, thanks to the Balindog Dairy and the National Livestock Program (NLP) for allowing the participants to tour the area.
