In Alabel today, August 15, the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD) of the Department of Agriculture (DA) 12 and Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) of Sarangani turned-over the cheque to the 6 YFC grantees from the said province.
Aside from the assistance of DA 12, the PLGU-Sarangani will also give additional financial support worth Php 20,000 for their chosen business model canvass.
Moreover, the DA 12 – AMAD also shared ideas to the YFC provincial winners for the successful implementation of their agri-fishery enterprises.
“YFC is important because it helps the youth to engage into farming. Nowadays, medyo nanghihina na ang interest ng mga kabataan into farming and this program bridges us to realize how important farming is,” Provincial Winner Carl Jade Tangge said.
