Police Staff Sergeant Mercy Margarette Dema-ala of Philippine National Police – South Cotabato Provincial Office raised the awareness of participants on the Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity or Expression (SOGIE) Equality Bill and the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004 or also known as Republic Act 9262.
This GAD’s initiative is part of the month-long celebration of National Women’s Month this March.
